Academic Eligibility Program

If a student is failing 2 or more classes, they become ineligible to attend any afterschool activities such as sports, dances, drama etc.
For a student to become eligible for afterschool activities, students must participate in our AE Program afterschool on Monday's and Wednesday's from 2:50pm to 3:50pm. This program offers a chance for students to receive academic help and a chance to catch up on past-due assignments. 
Unatego provides afterschool transportation for your students! Students must sign-up for the afterschool bus on the day of the AE Program. Sign-up sheets are available in the HS Office from 8am - 1pm. The afterschool bus leaves the MS/HS Building at 3:50pm.

After-Prom Party

The After-Prom Party provides a safe space for students who attended the Prom to keep the party going!
The After-Prom Party will take place after the Prom at the Clark's Sports Center in Cooperstown, NY.
Transportation will be provided from the Prom and the Unatego High School.
Tickets are free - Sponsored by the SADD Club.
STUDENTS MUST BE ACADEMICALLY ELLIGIBLE TO ATTEND!

Unatego Jr/Sr Prom

Important 2024 Jr-Sr Prom Information
Date: Saturday, June 8th, 2024
Time: 6-11 pm (Dinner & Dance)
Place: Quality Inn Ballroom, Oneonta NY
Theme:  Forest/Garden
Tickets:  $50 each - on sale from Ms. Costello in room 212 on May 20th-May 31st

Who can attend: 11th & 12th grade students.  9th & 10th grade students may attend as guests of an 11th or 12th grade student.

Eligibility: To purchase a ticket and attend prom, students must be in good academic standing.  If a student is academically ineligible, they will not be able to buy a prom ticket.  If a student purchases a ticket and then becomes academically ineligible at the time of prom, they will not be allowed to attend and will not receive a refund.  To check academic standing and/or to get information about attending after-school sessions if you are ineligible, please speak with Mrs. Maruszewski in the Students Services Office.

Out of district guests:  If a student wants to bring a guest who does not attend Unatego, a guest permission form needs to be completed.  The forms will be available outside Ms. Costello's room (212) starting Monday, May 6th.  Forms are due by Monday, May 20th.  There will be no exception to the due date as we need time to call schools and approve guests.  If a student wants to bring a guest from Franklin, the Franklin student should buy a ticket through their Franklin prom advisor.  There is no need for a guest form for a Franklin student.
